My educational and professional background
Throughout my many years of experience, primarily in the United States, I initially focused on research, and later transitioned to clinical practice.
My extensive and diverse experience includes work with Child Protective Services and participation in Task Forces against domestic violence. I have also served as a school psychologist, working with adolescents suffering from severe emotional disorders and various forms of neurodiversity, as well as a therapist at a Mental Health Center.
At the same time, I continued my clinical practice, working with individuals, couples, and families. My clinical work has always focused on providing personalized and in-depth support.
1.
My educational journey began with studies in Clinical Psychology in Padua, followed by a specialization in Systemic Family Therapy in Treviso.
2.
I then furthered my training by focusing on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, completing courses in Boston, Vancouver, and New York.
3.
In recent years, I have continued my professional development in the United States, completing training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an effective therapeutic approach for treating trauma such as PTSD and CPTSD (Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder, both Simple and Complex).
4.
I later pursued training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), a method taught and practiced worldwide for over forty years.
My rich and diverse professional and educational background equips me with the tools
necessary to provide effective and compassionate therapeutic support to couples,
individuals, and families. I integrate advanced theoretical knowledge with a deep
understanding of my clients' needs.
These abilities are invaluable when working with couples and families facing
relational crises or conflict situations.
